Work has progressed at a steady pace over the last month on Dewsbury Goods. Paul Clark, a new S7 member, helped me finish painting and weathering the high level retaining wall. Kevin Turville has been repairing “cripple rolling stock”; he’s also making a register of all un-built kits at Butterly (more work for the future). Peter J Wilde has continued fitting cosmetic chairs and has started on the electrical diagrams for re-wiring the layout. During March, Tony Wright came to photograph the Museum and Study Centre for a new HMRS brochure. Not to miss an opportunity, we populated Dewsbury with locos and rolling stock, Tony was most impressed and took quite a few photographs. He also asked for articles for future issues British Railway Modelling. This is all good advertising for S7.
